The Hierophant — Spiritual Message of the Day
February 25, 2012
The cynic and the dogmatic both rightly criticize the other, but wrongly exalt themselves. They both indulge in a false belief that these are the only two alternatives, but in reality, they are polar opposites along a broad spectrum. Both tend to be egotistic and blind in their rigid belief, and neither sees the true essence of the Divine. One denies it while the other is fooled by a caricature of the Divine. Thus, both suffer in their separation from divinity.
In matters of spiritual belief, a humble and open mind leads us to a sacred middle ground where the seeds of Truth may be found, where an ecstatic experience of divine union takes root, and where serenity will flourish.

Your philosophy determines whether you will go for the disciplines or continue the errors. Jim Rohn

This is something I’ve been thinking for a long while, but James Ricklef says it so much better.
