The Hierophant -- Spiritual Message of the Day

We may see this card as one of three levels of intermediaries with the Divine: priest, prophet, and avatar. These have been common aspects of religion for thousands of years, but the time has come when people begin to realize that they don’t need such intermediaries. We don’t need priests to intercede in our communication with the divine. We are all prophets when we walk our spiritual path. And we are all avatars of the divine; we just have not awakened to the conscious realization of our own divinity yet.
