Pithy Tarot meanings — Four of Wands
Four of Wands:
“Happiness in a box”
I once heard this card described that way: “Happiness in a box.” My interpretation of that phrase is that there are moments when everything seems to be perfect in your life, and those times are often during celebrations or ceremonies—a wedding, a graduation party, etc. We may even wish at that moment that we could capture and hold onto that feeling of joy forever. But of course, everything is not perfect, and soon the problems of reality are going to hit. There will be conflict in your marriage that needs to be resolved, you’ll have to find a job (which will have its own challenges), and so on. But although no success is a final one, every success should be celebrated, because this creates a joyful foundation for our lives.
For a deeper look into the importance of celebrations, see a “Spiritual Tarot Meaning” blog post for this card that I posted a couple of years ago.
Pithy Tarot card meanings are short, easy to remember meanings, and they will even stimulate further insights when called to mind during a reading. In addition, they can be fun.
