I’m a big fan of James Ricklef’s tarot deck Tarot of the Masters, and I appreciate the fact that the care and knowledge he put into the deck is also evident in his blog entries. The posts are informative, entertaining, and enriching.
James’ insight to the tarot is one that I’ve always respected and heeded. He’s taught me so much more depth in what the tarot has to offer. The blog is a wonderful source of information on the varying topics related to tarot, but more importantly, have excellent examples of real-life applications. As a tarot reader deepening my experience and practical knowledge of the tarot, I am able to gleen from James’ years of experience.
James, I have to tell you, I rarely read blog posts on a regular basis. Even the few fashion ones I subscribe to, I just look at the pictures! But your blog is so well written and so topical on a regular basis, I’m completely hooked. You’re really doing an outstanding job!
James is the ultimate tarot professional and I love all of his work from the first books and KnightHawk readings through his wonderful Tarot of the Masters Deck. The only thing better than only all of these and having met James in person is the opportunity to stay in touch through his blog! The insights that James shares are fun, provocative and educational and offer practical means to expand your knowledge and practice of tarot. Thanks James for continuing to expand your own tarot skills and practice while being willing to take us on that journey with you!
Hi James,
I love to visit your site and read your interesting insights into Tarot and how it relates to our daily lives. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and experience. Keep up the good work.

James has written books that in my opinion, are ‘must have’s for any tarot collection. His style is approachable, down to earth and also practical. I was so pleased when he then added his own tarot deck. With regards the blog I find it so enlightening to see a blog that really allows us to feel part of his musings in a way often lacking with regular blogs. It is not just a case of James saying what is on his mind, but inviting us to take part in subsequent discussions. Not only is this refreshing it also allows us (as the visitor) to learn so much on how to get the best out of our own readings. I highly recommend any publication by James and would also recommend his blog is visited on a regular basis. It will be enlightening and helps remind us how special and approachable a person he really is.
Thanks for an outstanding blog, James. I’ve used your ideas in own readings and during Tarot classes that I’ve taught. The results are always good and thought provoking. I don’t have time for all the blogs in cyberspace but yours is one that I always look forward to — it generally hits home.
I was guided towards James because of his emphasis on using Tarot as a positive empowering tool. I am fortunate to have 3 of his excellent books (Tarot Tells the Tale, Tarot: Get the Whole Story and Tarot Affirmations) and now also the ability to follow his ideas and developments and interact directly with him and others via this blog. James, thank you for being so accessible and generously sharing your pearls of wisdom with us!
James’ blog is a great place for the beginner to expand skills, or the very experienced to brush up on their work with Tarot. His thoughts are well written and easily understood. I don’t read blogs unless they are on a subject I am interested and expand my knowledge in some way. I READ James’ blog. Thanks for sharing with all of us, James.
Having just ‘surfed’ my way into James Ricklef’s Tarot Blog, his discernment on Tarot issues have been enormously edifying; his energy and enthusiam apparent and engaging.
James Ricklef’s Blog delivers a store of clear, thought-inspiring articles and his sincere style of written counsel, filled with intrinsic truth and excellent advice, is one that touches and invites participation from all levels of beginner’s, intermediates and Pros alike.
I like your blog a lot. The entries are always clear, and I am learning a lot. Keep it going!
I have taken many classes from James and have learned a lot. My copy of his book Tarot Tells The Tale, is so dog-eared and used that Im going to have to buy another. With him Tarot is an art an he is truly a Master at it.
James Ricklif is a reference in the world of Tarot, not only because of his vast knowledge, but also for its ethics and down to earth. Even for me that I am not from an English speaking country, it is easily understandable, without being superficial. All this is reflected in his amazing work on this blog, where everyone is listened to, with equal attention and creativity is encouraged, without beeing dull.
James,
Thanks, your tarot blog is great! The frequent posts on various subjects really hits the spot.
Your creative use of tarot has opened my mind, and my heart….
Your continued dedication to the exploration of tarot, underscores your position of professional in the expanding tarot world.
Keep up the good work!!!
I check this blog almost everyday – I like the way James can say a lot in just a few paragraphs. It’s one of the few blogs I check almost daily, and that certainly means something. Thanks, James, you’ve been doing a really nice job!
James is not just the author of great tarot books – he is also a great tarot reader and a gifted teacher as well. I have learnt a lot from his writings, and been inspired by his method and his ethic code. He is also gentle and approachable, always responding to his readers’ concerns and doubts. It is a pleasure to be able to follow his work and his thoughts everyday through this blog!
Thank you James, for sharing your knowledge with us and being always so attentive to us!

I feel privileged to be able to read James’ comments and ideas so frequently through his blog. The topics are always interesting and OFTEN appropriate to what is on my mind. Coincidence??!!
