Pithy Tarot meanings — The Chariot

September 27, 2014

The Chariot -- Tarot of the MastersThe Chariot:

The Chariot card has an implication of accomplishment, which is a good thing, to be sure, but there is another side to that story. So today I would like to post a pithy meaning for this card that follows a rather atypical path for it. Sometimes it seems like we are constantly striving to accomplish something instead of being something. However, it is in the Being that we accomplish what we need. Here, then, is a pithy meaning based on that observation:

Doesn’t it seem as if we’re always going somewhere and never being anywhere?

A related pithy meaning is this:

The being is the doing.

The point implied by this second pithy meaning is expanded upon in this Spiritual Tarot post: https://jamesricklef.wordpress.com/2011/05/11/chariot-spiritual-message-2/
