Pithy Tarot meanings — Seven of Swords

September 29, 2014

Seven of SwordsSeven of Swords:
One of this week’s Postsecrets suggested a pithy meaning for the Seven of Swords:

Do you wish that you were the person in real life that you are online?

Here’s an explanation of what I mean by this:
When protected by the anonymity of the Internet, do we project a persona that we are afraid to manifest in person? A deeper question then is which is the real you, the one online or the one in person? Which is the lie, and which is the truth? Or is there a little of both in each of them?
