What does the Ace of Swords mean?

August 18, 2016

Ace of Swords -- Tarot of the MastersHere is a pithy meaning for the Ace of Swords:
“Words are the bricks of our world and they have the power to change it.” — Enock Maregesi

This is from the message for Day 15 of a 21 Day challenge called “Spark your Spark.”

The words we use from day to day hold tremendous power in them. If we were more conscious of the power of our words, we would be more careful with the kinds of words we use. Today, make it your goal to be mindful of the words you speak—both to yourself and to others. Try to choose words that are positive, gentle and encouraging.

And so this all suggests a bit of advice for the Ace of Swords: Just for a day, choose your words carefully, especially your “self-talk.” For example, instead of telling yourself “I can’t do that,” say to yourself, “I will find a way to do that.”Choose words that are positive, gentle, and encouraging.

    • Thank you for the comment, Gabriel.
Yes, of course. We should always do this. I guess maybe I should have said “Try it just for a day …” Sometimes we are willing to try something for a day (that’s doable!), and then as we see it work, we will keep doing it. 🙂
