What does the Two of Swords mean?

Here is a pithy meaning for the Two of Swords:
Beware the “fallacy of gray.”

Another way of expressing this pithy meaning is this:
While it’s true that things aren’t “black and white” we should also beware of the “fallacy of gray.”

This fallacy consists of thinking that everything along a continuum is essentially the same.  For example, “So what if Trump did all that? All politicians are crooks.”

Also, the following quote from a novel called David’s Sling by Marc Stiegler (which I found on a blog post titled “The Fallacy of Gray”) is an illustration of this fallacy and an explanation of why it is a fallacy:

The Sophisticate:  “The world isn’t black and white.  No one does pure good or pure bad. It’s all gray.  Therefore, no one is better than anyone else.”
The Zetet:  “Knowing only gray, you conclude that all grays are the same shade.  You mock the simplicity of the two-color view, yet you replace it with a one-color view.”

The fallacy is the argument that two states or conditions cannot be considered distinct (or do not exist at all) because between them there exists a continuum of states.
