The Three of Cups suggests a way to live a happier life

Three of Cups -- Tarot of the MastersThere are many ways to use Tarot cards beyond the well-known process of doing a traditional reading. Here’s a way to create a happier life today using a bit of advice from the Three of Cups, which is often called “the friendship card.” Our friendships bring us joy in many ways, so this card suggests the following advice.

Think of a friend you have not seen or talked to in a while, and contact that person. If you cannot do that in person (or at least by voice), contact him or her to make plans to meet up soon.  PS: Don’t just send a text! Personal contact is a very important aspect of friendship.

Note: Even better, choose a friend with whom you had a conflict that has obstructed your friendship. Rebuild that friendship! After all (as I noted once in a pithy Tarot blog post):

Friendship is precious.  Accept your friends when it would be easier to judge them; forgive them when it would be easier to hold a grudge.
