What does the Moon card mean?

July 15, 2018

Pithy RWS Tarot MoonHere is a pithy meaning for the Moon card:
How much of your time do you spend in an unreal world?

This pithy meaning may refer to the unreal world of our imagination, but there is another possibility too. The Moon card can also represent the illusory world of virtual reality. Thus, it asks us to consider this question: How much time do you spend working and playing in a virtual reality world, and what effect does that have on your life?

PS: This pithy meaning was inspired by the following quote:

Mankind moves from the Earthly plane
to Moon’s imaginary domain.
Already, work and play take place,
increasingly, in virtual space.
