What does the Five of Pentacles mean?

December 16, 2019

RWS 2.0 Five of PentaclesHere is a pithy meaning for the Five of Pentacles:
We all want that feeling of being safe with someone in the midst of a harsh, uncaring world.

Long ago (in the 19th Century), the Five of Coins was called “The Marriage Card.” However, the image that later became associated with this card via the Rider Waite Smith deck has changed how we interpret it.  This pithy meaning can pull those two associations together.
