RWS 2.0 deck comparison
I was recently asked by someone if I could show her a comparison of some cards from my RWS 2.0 deck to the traditional RWS deck. Of course, I took that as a message from the Universe to show everyone a few such card comparisons, which you can see below. In each pair, the first image is from my RWS 2.0 deck and the second is from a traditional RWS deck. It was not feasible to do this for all 78 cards, so I just chose a few examples.
PS: Here is a bit of information about how I created this deck:
To create a new version of this classic deck, I first cleaned up the black and white line drawings of the cards featured in the 1911 book, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot by A.E. Waite to make them crisp, distinct, and sharp. I then electronically colored the cards in a way that brings them vividly to life for a 21st Century audience while using a coloring scheme reminiscent of the 1910 Waite deck.
